Lorraine did an amazing job staging our home. With relatively short notice we were moving to the East Coast. Our house was approximately 10 years old and still had the original paint; we had a lot of work to do before it went on the market. Lorraine helped pick modern complementary paint colours to the hardwood floors and we had the interior painted from top to bottom. Then the staging process, Lorraine met with us, answered all our questions and explained the process of staging a house. Lorraine gave us a shopping list, did some shopping for us and even loaned us a few items from her house (which always looks like a model home, I don’t know how she can keep it looking so great at all times). After a few days and with a very low budget the staging was complete. It was breathtaking...it looked like a show home…we didn’t want to move. Now the best part, pictures were taken and the house hit the market as of midnight on a Saturday. Sunday afternoon we had our first showing and Sunday evening it was sold at our asking price with no conditions whatsoever. It wasn’t even on the market 24 hours. The buyers saw the pictures on the internet and knew immediately it was the house for them. Without Lorraine’s help, I’m sure this would not have been the case. First impressions are everything and Lorraine certainly created that emotional attachment one gets as soon as they see the pictures and walk through the front door. We had Lorraine to our house improve the flow and furniture layout of our living room, master bedroom and sunroom. She re-arranged our furniture in a way that we had not thought of which considered how we wanted to use these rooms.
